Nach einer Fanfarenmäßigen Einleitung, beginnt der 1. Teil des Marsches, der traditionell gehalten ist. Der 2. Teil, ein wuchtiges Bass
Solo ertönt in Moll. Beim 3. Teil dem Trio wird ein Revueartiges Thema wird in den Saxophonen und Hörnern intoniert. Nach einem kurzem Schlagzeug Solo endet der Konzertmarsch Hommage im Strahlenden Orchester Klang aus.

After a fanfare-like introduction, the first traditional part of the march begins. In the second section, a powerful tuba solo plays in a minor key.
