Nik Bohnenberger Komponist

Nik Bohnenberger was born in Bech/Luxembourg on the 19th January 1994. At the age of five, he began his musical education, one year later he started playing french horn and a few years later piano as well. In 2009 he went to the Conservatory of Luxembourg where, besides of horn and piano, he took classes in singing, chamber music, déchiffrage, harmonics, counter point and musical analysis. Since September 2013 he studied, with teaching degree, Music at the University of Arts and German Language and Litterature at the Humboldt University in Berlin.

Since his composing debut in 2006 a few pieces, ”Pursuit” (2010), ”Dream” (2012), ”Melusina” (2012), ”Consectatio” (2012), have been published by Bronsheim Music / Netherlands. Furthermore, works like ’’Sérénade” (2011-12) and ”El Venado Herido” (2013) have had very favorable reviews on their first performance.
