[NL]

Aquila Chrysaetos is the Latin name for the golden eagle, one of the largest birds of prey. This piece by Alex Poelman suggests the power emanating from this big predatory bird The day dawns and from over the mountain an eagle appears, smoothly riding the wind looking for prey (the main theme). When his eagle eyes spot a prey, he launches an attack. He tosses the prey off the cliff. After consuming the animal the main theme comes back and the bird flies away in heroic glory.

[FR]
