During the past few years, Andrew Pearce enjoyed a fruitful collaboration with Phillip Cobb, principal trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra, composing such works as The Maestro and Interlude for his album in 2012. Later Cobb invited Pearce to compose a slow melody, accompanied by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force for Cobb's upcoming album, displaying his softer, expressive side on flugelhorn. This song-like, warm lilting lullaby reflects on the joy of life.

Sinds enkele jaren is er een vruchtbare samenwerking tussen Andrew Pearce en Philip Cobb, solo-trompet van het London Symphony Orchestra. Zo ontstonden The Maestro en Interlude voor Cobbs album uit 2012. So entstanden 2012 die Stücke The Maestro und Interlude für Cobbs Album Songs from the Heart. Danach bat er Pearce, für das neue Album mit der Central Band of the Royal Air Force eine langsame Melodie zu schreiben, damit er auf dem Flügelhorn seine langsame und expressive Seite zeigen könne. Dieses gesangliche Wiegenlied spiegelt die aufkommende Lebensfreude des Frühlings wieder.
