Andrew Pearce was commissioned to score a short film for some student filmmakers in London. The quirky, bizarre and comedic subject of their film (featuring a pair of elderly and enterprising twin brothers) required a lively and cartoon-like score to match their performances. Pearce felt the music was strong enough to be revised and released beyond the film. This suite of selected music cues should appeal to more advanced ensembles featuring solo winds, brass and percussion. The suite is book-ended by the memorable main title theme.

Deze vierdelige suite werd in opdracht geschreven in 1998 voor een korte fim, gemaakt door een paar jonge Londense filmmakers. Het bizarre, eigenzinnige en komische onderwerp van hun film over een oudere ondernemerstweeling vroeg om levendige, cartooneske muziek. De muziek is op zichzelf sterk genoeg om ook buiten de film gespeeld te worden door gevorderde orkesten en bands die van filmmuziek houden. De suite bevat enkele solo's voor hout, koper en percussie en een pakkend hoofdthema.

Cette suite en 4 mouvements était commandée en 1998 pour un court-métrage fait par des jeunes cinéastes Londoniens. Le sujet bizarre et drôle de leur film, parlant des jumeaux entrepreneurs d'un certain âge, demandait une musique vivace et cartoonesque. La Suite peut très bien être jouée en dehors du film par des orchestres et bands avancés qui ont une affinité avec la musique de film. Elle contient quelques solos pour bois, cuivres et percussions, et un thème principal captivant.
