De Franse accordeonist en componist Frédéric Uhry (Straatsburg, 1932) leidt diverse koren en harmonieorkesten in de streek van Phalsbourg. Zijn composities zijn vaak geïnspireerd door de regionale folklore van het Noordoosten van Elzas. Deze eenvoudige en pittige 'Rhapsodie 2001' werd voor harmonieorkest bewerkt door Sylvain Dedenon. Deze instrumentale fantasie gaat soms de swingtoer op, maar bevat ook lyrische passages.

The French accordionist and composer Frédéric Uhry (Strasbourg, 1932) conducts several choirs and symphonic bands in the Phalsbourg area. His compositions are often inspired by the regional folklore of North-east Alsace. This rather easy but thrilling 'Rhapsody 2001' has been arranged for symphonic band by Sylvain Dedenon. Lyrical and swinging tunes alternate in this instrumental fantasy.

L'accordéoniste et compositeur français Frédéric Uhry (Strasbourg, 1932) dirige plusieurs chorales et orchestres d'harmonie dans la région de Phalsbourg. Ses compositions sont souvent inspirées par le folklore régional du Nord-ouest de l'Alsace. Cette « Rhapsodie 2001 » plutôt facile, mais pétillante, a été arrangée pour orchestre d'harmonie par Sylvain Dedenon. Cette fantaisie instrumentale est imprégnée du swing, mais comprend également des passages plus lyriques.
