De Mambo heeft een intrigerend rythme. Beroemd zijn de mambo's van Perez Prado en zijn orkest. Vooral de droge 'Uhn' kreet is iedereen bijgebleven. Geheel in originele stijl schreef Jef Penders er één.

The mambo has a fascinating rhythm. The mambos by Perez Prado and his orchestra are very famous. Especially the short cry 'Uhn' has remained very popular. Jef Penders wrote one quite in the original style.
