The Gladiator John Philip Sousa / Arr. Loras John Schissel

Sousa wrote this grand march in 1886 while the leader of the United States Marine Band. It was written as a tribute to journalist Charles B. Towle and was Sousa's first successful march. Once you hear it, you'll understand why it sold over a million copies at that time.
