INDIAN FIRE depicts vivid moments from the life of the North American Indian in the 19th century. In the piece you can hear the chants of a medicine man and fight scenes with the pale faces as well as a romantic love song. The composer uses unusual sounds numerous times throughout the work: unfamiliar sounds are expected from the instruments and the players are even required to sing.
