Londonderry Air ist quasi die heimliche Nationalhymne Nordirlands und wurde textlich erstmals im Jahre 1855 veröffentlicht. Die Melodie wurde zunächst für das volkstümliche Lied
"Danny Boy" verwendet und wurde hierdurch sehr bekannt. Das vorliegende Arrangement von Peter Schüller wurde sehr klangvoll bearbeitet und gibt ihrem Posaunisten oder Baritonisten
die Möglichkeit sich solistisch zu präsentieren.
