Het topje van Noorwegen waar het Noorderlicht gedurende de zomer te zien is inspireerde Allmend tot het componeren van deze mars.

While travelling in the North of Norway Allmend was struck by the beauty of the Northern Light which can be admired during a greater part of summertime. This marvel of nature inspired him to compose this march.
