Concert for Trumpet and Wind Band

Concert for wind band and trumpet solo. Spices is a commission from the trumpet player José Cháfer, to whom this piece is dedicated. It was played for the first time in the 43rd Annual International Conference of San Antonio, Texas, in May 2018. The piece is divided in different sections that refer to the taste universe represented by combinations of different spices. To stimulate the senses, different elements are opposed such as: Fresh Mint, Sugar and Cinnamon, Chili Pepper and Peppermint.

Un concert pour orchestre d'harmonie et solo de trompette. Spices est une composition du trompettiste José Cháfer, à qui cette pièce est d'ailleurs dédiée. Elle a été jouée pour la première fois lors de la «43e Conférence internationale annuelle de San Antonio au Texas », en mai 2018. La pièce est divisée en différentes sections qui font référence à l'univers gustatif en évoquant des combinaisons d'épices différentes. Pour stimuler les sens, différents éléments s'opposent, tels que : la menthe fraîche, le sucre et la cannelle, le piment rouge et la menthe poivrée.
