This excellent tune is the MENC All-State jazz band audition piece in Illinois and really has lots of kick to it. It changes from "Latin to Swing" and back again, a musical device found in the hottest contemporary big band charts, and definitely something your players should master. It's a hot tune and one the crowd will appreciate too!
