Here's a superb arrangement that will put your most talented cornet players (or section) in the spotlight. John Kinyon has masterfully orchestrated the folk song 'This Old Man' into a cornet trio with a rich, full-band accompaniment. The trio writing is magnificent and each cornetist is given a short solo for even more variety. The soloists are given adequate time to rest to ensure they can make it through the entire work without tiring. Highly recommended! (Grade 1)
