Balkan Chicks is a cool party tune which suits young and old.
The traditional, Norwegian folk tune Pål sine høner (Pål´s Hens) is dressed up in a Balkan-pop suite with a driving groove and catchy melody. The middle part feature a solo section where the players can showcase themself with a simple melody.
In this call-response section, the musicians rise up alone or in groups, while the rest of the band responds. The section may be repeated as many times as you like.

Den tradisjonelle, norske folketonen Pål sine høner er her kledd i balkanpopdrakt med et drivende komp og fengende melodi. I midtdelen er det en solodel der musikantene kan få vise seg fram med en enkel melodilinje.
Lagt opp etter call-response-prinsippet, kan musikanter alene eller gruppevis reise seg opp og spille, mens resten av korpset svarer. Delen kan repeteres så mange ganger en ønsker.
