The work is written in a Spanish style and is influenced both by the famous paso dobles and the Spanish comedy operetta form, the zarzuela. As it was originally written for somewhat smaller orchestras, it's possible to be played with limited players. Ornate melody lines and striking rhythms alternate with a playful interaction between the two solo trumpets and the orchestra, and watch out for the changing time signatures! In short, a challenging piece for both the soloists and the orchestra.

L'uvre est écrite dans le style espagnol et présente des influences telles que les fameuses paso dobles et la tradition d'opérette espagnole, la zarzuela. Écrit pour les orchestres un peu plus petits et donc jouant avec une capacité limitée. Des lignes mélodiques gracieuses et des rythmes saisissants alternent avec une interaction ludique entre les deux trompettes solo et l'orchestre; les changements de rythmes ne sont pas évités. En bref, une pièce ambitieuse pour les solistes et l'orchestre.
