Chapuis Marcel geb. in 10. März 1949. Er studierte 1970 bis 1974 Musikwissenschaft an der Sorbonne. Seit 1975 ist er Lehrer, seit 1978 Direktor der Städtischen Musikschule in Bapaume, wo er auch die Stadtkapelle dirigiert.
