Mike Springer composer / arranger
Mike Springer maintains an active schedule as a pianist, teacher, composer/arranger, and adjudicator in the Dallas, TX area. His students have won top prizes in many competitions in the fields of performance and composition. Mike has composed and arranged extensively for piano, electronic media (MIDI), vocal ensemble, and wind ensemble; and several of his piano solos have been chosen for the National Federation of Music Clubs. In 2015, three of Mikes pieces were selected to be part of the Royal Conservatory of Musics Celebration Series Repertoire Books.
Mike is an accomplished performer in classical and jazz styles and has arranged and performed music for national television commercials and documentaries. He has produced and performed on two of his own CDs, as well as those of other performing artists. He has performed in the United States, South America and Europe, and has been a church pianist for over 25 years. Mike received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance from the University of North Texas.
