*Minneapolis, Minnesota, 24. Oktober 1942. Er schloss das Studium an der University of Northern Colorado mit dem Master of Arts in Music Education 1969 ab. Als Pädagoge wirkte er an verschiedenen Schulen. Bekannt aber wurde er vor allem als Verfasser der "Best in Class"- sowie der "Standard of Excellence"-Unterrichtswerke.
