John Prescott Komponist / Arrangeur
John Prescott ist ein amerikanischer Komponist und Pädagoge.
Dr. Prescott hat Abschlüsse der Florida State University und der University of Kansas, wo er Komposition bei John Pozdro, Edward Mattila und James Barnes studierte. Als preisgekröntes Mitglied der ASCAP komponiert Dr. Prescott Musik für Band, Orchester, Chor, Kammerensemble und Multimedia-Veranstaltungsorte, und ein Großteil seiner Musik wird veröffentlicht und weltweit vertrieben. Er ist seit 1986 an der Fakultät der Missouri State University (Springfield) tätig.
Mehrere seiner Studenten haben auch als Komponisten Erfolg gehabt und Wettbewerbe gewonnen, die von der Music Teachers National Association, BMI, dem American College Theatre Festival und dem Broadcast Education Association International Student Video Festival gesponsert werden.
