Geburtsdatum: 25.08.1939
Jager Robert, geb. in Binghamton, New York, 25. August 1939. Jager diente 1962 bis 1965 in der US Navy Armed Forces School of Music als Arrangeur. Er absolvierte 1968 die University of Michigan und wurde anschließend Dozent für Komposition und Dirigieren an der Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Seit 1971 ist er Professor für Musiktheorie und Komposition an der Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee.
