Crepin Alain (Pseud. Pol Steve) geb. in Mettet, Belgien, 28. Februar 1954. Er studierte am Konservatorium in Brüssel bei F. Daneels sowie bei R. Cardon, Y. Ducène und J. Leduc. Seit 1981 gehört er als Professor für Saxophon dem Lehrkörper des Konservatoriums in Brüssel an. Er ist zudem seit 1983 als Kapellmeister der belgischen Luftstreitkräfte aktiv und verwaltet die Association Internationale Adolphe Sax der Stadt Dinand.
