Daniel "Danny" Robert Elfman (* 29. Mai 1953 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien) ist ein US-amerikanischer Komponist von Filmmusik und Sohn der Schriftstellerin Blossom Elfman. Bekannt wurde er vor allem für seine Arbeiten für den Regisseur Tim Burton unter anderem an Edward mit den Scherenhänden, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie und die Schokoladenfabrik, Batman und Alice im Wunderland. Ebenso komponierte er die Titelmelodie der Erfolgsserie Die Simpsons. Danny Elfman ist verheiratet mit der Schauspielerin Bridget Fonda.
