Bencriscutto Frank, geboren in Racine, Wisconsin, 21. September 1928, gest. Roseville, Minnesota, 28. August 1997. Sohn italienischer Einwanderer. Das Studium der Musik an der University of Wisconsin sowie an der Eastman School of Music verdiente er sich als Saxophonist in Jazzbands. Seit 1960 gehörte er als Dirigent des Blasorchesters dem Lehrkörper der University of Minnesota an; 1993 in Ruhestand.
