Jean-Pierre Haeck composer / arranger
Born in Belgium, Jean-Pierre Haeck began studying music at the Conservatory of his hometown, Verviers. After the Greco-Latin humanities, he studied at the Royal Conservatory of Liege, where he won several awards: First Prize Orchestra Direction with distinction in the class of Roger Rossel, First Prize in Class Percussion Louis Koch, Higher Diploma in Specialized Honours in Music Theory class Gerhard Sporken, Higher Diploma with distinction Trombone, Tuba magna cum laude and honors in the class of William Ackermans, Diploma in Education Pedagogical Aptitude with distinction, the study of music history, harmony of written and educational psychology. Trombonist in the Orchestra of Belgian Radio and Television from 1988 to 1990, lecturer at the Conservatory of Liège from 1992 to 1994, Jean-Pierre Haeck also teaches in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg from 1993 to 2000. In 1994 he founded the Ensemble Orchestral Mosan where he became musical director and founded his own record label "JPH Productions". Meanwhile, it is also the assistant director of music at the Friedrich Pleyer Royal Opera of Wallonia for Norma, Tannhäuser, Aida, Nabucco, La Traviata, Falstaff, Turandot, Madame Butterfly,. He then directed several concerts with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice, the Great Orchestra of Harmony of the European Communities, the Favorite at Bordeaux Opera, the Périchole to Monte-Carlo. It is also the guest of the Belgian National Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia, the Grand Theatre de Verviers and the International Jacques Offenbach Festival at Bad Ems. He heads La Favorite, Manon, Pomme d Api, La Vie Parisienne, Singing in the Rain, The Musketeers at Convent, La Perichole, La Fille de Madame Angot, The Three Waltzes, Dialogues of the Carmelites, I Masnadieri at Royal Opera Wallonia; The Perichole, Bluebeard, The Three Waltzes in Avignon Opera; Gisele, The Acrobats, Bluebeard in the Grand Théâtre de Limoges. In 2002, Jean-Pierre Haeck was appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, with whom he recorded Freyhir of E. Mathieu, the Symphony in G minor of Edouard Lalo, the cantata Comala J. Jongen, a CD devoted to the work of S. Dupuis. Recently, he directed The Merry Widow and Faust at Opera Royal de Wallonie.
