Steve Hodges composer / arranger
Steve Hodges earned his B.S. degree from Western Oregon State College in 1972 and his M.Ed. degree at Central Washington State University in 1975. Heavily involved in public school musik education, his posts have included Director of Bands and Choirs at Petersburg Elementary School in The Dalles, Oregon and Director of Music for the Dufur School District. Mr. Hodges has been Director of Bands for the Chenowith School District in The Dalles since 1989. His duties include teaching general music and directing the concert bands, jazz bands, pep and marching bands. Mr. Hodges has written over thirty concert band compositions since 1986, all published by Alfred.
